Short Biography

• I am currently serving as a Lecturer in the Department of Environmental Science and Disaster Management at Gopalganj Science and Technology University (GSTU), Gopalganj. My academic foundation was built at GSTU, where I completed my B.Sc. (Hons) in 2023 (securing 3rd position out of 176) and my M.Sc. (Thesis) in 2025 (securing 2nd position out of 53). My master's thesis focused on assessing the impacts of emerging pollutants—specifically microplastics and heavy metals—on water quality, sediments, and aquatic life in the Rupsa River, Khulna, for which I received the National Science and Technology (NST) Fellowship.
  
  I began my teaching career as an Instructor at Edutune (2024–2026), followed by a role as a Lecturer at Daffodil International University in mid-2026 before joining the faculty at GSTU in June 2026. In addition to my academic duties, I serve as Assistant Director of the Office of Student Counseling and Guidance, Member of the Teachers Club Activation Committee, and Advisor to both the Environmental Science Club and the GSTU E-Sports Club.
  
  My research experience includes leading geochemical and water quality assessments, serving as an Investigator on a Waste-To-Energy project, and conducting GIS-based environmental studies. Beyond academia, I actively lead youth and environmental initiatives, currently serving as President of Auritry Jubo Unnayan Sangstha and Director of W2R Enterprises.
  
  To date, I have co-authored a peer-reviewed paper in Climate Action (Springer Nature), presented conference research at the BAPA-BEN Annual Conference, and co-authored poster presentations on sustainable plastic waste management. My core research interests center on hydrology, water quality, heavy metal contamination, microplastics, waste-to-energy systems, and sustainable disaster management.
