Short Biography


  • Md. Asif Khaled- “A Journey from Academic Excellence to Corporate Success and Education”

    Asif, born in a beautiful village named Paikkandi, Gopalganj, emerged as a shining star right from the beginning. He was the younger child of Mr. Jakir Hossain Molla and Rajia Sultana, a beloved couple in their community. His academic journey commenced at Paikkandi high school,from where he achieved the remarkable feat of being the first student to earn a GPA-5 in his SSC Examination.

    Continuing his quest for knowledge, Asif pursued his Higher Secondary education at Govt. M.M City College, Khulna, specializing in Business Studies, where he once again excelled with a GPA-5. His thirst for learning led him to the prestigious Department of Marketing at the University of Rajshahi, where he successfully completed his graduation in Busimess Studies (Marketing) with great academic excellence.

    During his time at the University of Rajshahi, Asif didn't just focus on academics; he was a dynamic student leader and visionary. As the founder president of the Rajshahi University Business Club (RUBC), he showcased his leadership prowess. Moreover, he actively participated in various co-curricular activities and earned several accolades, including being the 1st Runner-Up of the 'National Community Branding Competition 2013,' and the 'Outstanding Delegate of UNYSABMUN 2014'.He also secured the 1st Runner-Up position in the 'Robi Idea Generation Competition.'

    Transitioning to the corporate world, Asif brought his exceptional marketing skills and knowledge to three multinational companies - Marico, GSK, and Hemas. Throughout his career, he primarily focused on Trade Marketing, New Product Development (NPD), and the formulation and implementation of marketing strategies, all backed by meticulous research. His dedication and excellence were recognized with prestigious awards, including the coveted 'Marico CXO Award' titled "Marico MENAB" and the 'Best Initiative Award' at the 'Marico Annual Conference FY 2022-2023.' Notably, he received the 'Marico WOW Award' three times.

    However, Asif's journey didn't stop at corporate success. With six years of invaluable corporate experience, he decided to share his knowledge and passion for marketing with the next generation. Thus, he embarked on a new path as a lecturer of marketing at Gopalganj Science and Technology University, Dhaka, Bangladesh (Former Name:- Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman Science and Technology University), fulfilling his dream of becoming a faculty member at a public university.

    Md. Asif Khaled is not only an accomplished professional but also a fervent researcher, deeply committed to exploring new horizons in the field of marketing. His story is a testament to the power of education, dedication, and the pursuit of one's passions.
