Short Biography


  • I am currently serving as an Associate Professor in the Department of Physics at Gopalganj Science and Technology University (GSTU, formerly BSMRSTU), Gopalganj. My academic background began with completing my S.S.C. (2002) and H.S.C. (2004) under the Rajshahi Board. I obtained my B.Sc. (2008) and M.Sc. (2009) degrees in Applied Physics and Electronic Engineering from the University of Rajshahi, achieving First Class in both. Later, I earned my Ph.D. in Experimental Physics from Osaka University, Japan, in 2024 under the Bangabandhu Science and Technology Fellowship.

    I started my academic career as a Lecturer at NIDS in 2011 before joining BSMRSTU/GSTU as a Lecturer in 2012. I was promoted to Assistant Professor in 2015 and then to Associate Professor in 2022. While pursuing my doctoral studies from 2018 to 2024, I also served as a Research Assistant and Teaching Assistant at Osaka University. In addition to my teaching duties across physics, electronics, and programming courses, I served as Assistant Proctor and Hall Provost between 2014 and 2017.

    To date, I have co-authored 15 peer-reviewed scientific publications in international journals alongside several conference contributions. My research expertise encompasses synchrotron-based surface science, angle-resolved photoemission spectroscopy (ARPES), density functional theory (DFT) using Quantum ESPRESSO, and photovoltaic device simulation using SCAPS-1D.
