Short Biography


  • I am currently serving as a Lecturer in the Department of Physics at Gopalganj Science and Technology University (GSTU), Gopalganj. My academic journey began with my B.Sc. (Honors) and M.Sc. degrees in Physics from the University of Rajshahi, completing them in 2021 and 2022, respectively, where I secured First Class 1st position in both program levels. During my Master's studies, I was awarded the prestigious National Science and Technology (NST) Fellowship from the Ministry of Science and Technology, Bangladesh.

    I began my professional teaching career when I joined GSTU as a Lecturer in July 2023, where I conduct coursework, laboratory experiments, and academic assessments. Parallel to my academic role, I served in an administrative capacity as the Assistant Provost of Bijoy Dibos Hall at GSTU from August 2025 to July 2026. Prior to my current position, I worked as a Graduate Research Assistant in the Materials Science Laboratory under Prof. M. Khalilur Rahman Khan at the University of Rajshahi.

    To date, I have published 13 peer-reviewed scientific articles in international journals and presented my research at 4 national and international conferences. I have also served as the Principal Investigator (PI) for two institutional research grants funded by GSTU. My primary research expertise centers on Condensed Matter Physics, specializing in Density Functional Theory (DFT) calculations, first-principles investigations, and experimental nanoscience.
