Short Biography


  • I am currently serving as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Physics at Gopalganj Science and Technology University (GSTU), Gopalganj. My educational journey began with my secondary and higher secondary studies at Chandla K.B. High School (2002) and Comilla Government College (2004), respectively. I earned both my B.Sc. and M.Sc. degrees in Physics from the University of Dhaka in 2010 and 2012, securing 1st Class in both.

    I began my academic career at Bangladesh University of Business and Technology (BUBT), Dhaka, where I served as a Lecturer from October 2012 to December 2015, and subsequently as an Assistant Professor of Physics until November 2017. In December 2017, I joined GSTU as a Lecturer in Physics and was promoted to my current position as Assistant Professor in April 2021. Throughout my teaching experience at the university level, I have instructed courses spanning Quantum Mechanics, Solid State Physics, Nuclear Physics, Thermal Physics, and Electrodynamics.

    To date, I have authored 22 peer-reviewed scientific publications in prominent international journals. My primary research expertise includes first-principles studies, perovskite solar cell modeling and optimization (using SCAPS-1D), zero-dimensional halide perovskites, radiation sensing, and scintillation materials.
