Dr. Md. Anisur Rahaman is a distinguished scholar with an extensive academic background in sociology and international affairs. He earned his Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in International Affairs and Global Governance from Zhejiang University, Hangzhou, in 2023. His doctoral thesis, titled "Development of Community Clinic System in Bangladesh, and Policy Analysis from International Perspectives," underscores his commitment to addressing healthcare challenges through nuanced policy analysis and a global outlook. He was mentored by Professor Ka Lin from the College of Public Administration at Zhejiang University. His research interests include Public Health, Social Policy, Sociological Theories, and Advanced Research Methodology.
Dr. Rahaman's academic journey is marked by excellence. He obtained his Master of Social Science (M.S.S) in Sociology, graduating with first-class honors (1st Class 2nd). He also holds a Bachelor of Social Sciences (B.S.S.) in Sociology with first-class honors (1st Class 1st) from the University of Rajshahi in 2007. His foundational education includes achieving first divisions in both his Higher Secondary Certificate (H.S.C) in science in 2001 and his Secondary School Certificate (S.S.C) in science in 1998, both from the Jessore Board.
Currently, Dr. Rahaman serves as the Dean of the Faculty of Social Science, as well as an Associate Professor and Chairman of the Department of Sociology at Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman Science and Technology University in Gopalganj-8100, Bangladesh.
