Short Biography

I am currently serving as an Assistant Professor in the Department of English at Gopalganj Science and Technology University (GSTU), Gopalganj. My academic journey began with achieving GPA 5.00 in both S.S.C. (2008) and H.S.C. (2010) under the Jashore Board, earning Talentpool scholarships for both. Higher studies took me to the University of Dhaka, where I completed my B.A. (Honours) in English in 2014 and earned my Master of Arts in English Literature in 2015, receiving the EDAS Award for academic performance.
I started my teaching career as a Lecturer in the Department of English at the European University of Bangladesh in October 2017. Shortly after, I joined GSTU as a Lecturer in December 2017 and was subsequently promoted to Assistant Professor in April 2021. Alongside my classroom teaching across undergraduate and graduate levels, I actively serve as an academic coordinator, student counsellor, and MA thesis supervisor, as well as an external examiner for several public universities.
Throughout my career at GSTU, I have actively led departmental programs and student activities. I regularly organize and judge debate sessions, direct student cultural activities, coordinate academic tours and seminars, and chaired a session at the 1st National Student Conference on the Interplay of Language, Literature and Society in 2025.
To date, I have authored 8 peer-reviewed research publications in international journals alongside several ongoing projects and served as Principal Investigator on multiple GSTU-RC funded research projects. My core research focus encompasses cultural and media studies, visual culture, gender studies, post-colonial literature, and language education.
