Sheikh Md. Muniruzzaman, assistant professor in the Department of English, BangabandhuSheikh Mujibur Rahman Science and Technology University, Gopalganj, Bangladesh has been teaching at tertiary level for the past decade in the United States and Bangladesh. He received his BA (Honors) in English, and MA in Applied Linguistics and ELT from Jahangirnagar University, Bangladesh, and completed the Fulbright Foreign Language Teaching Assistant (FLTA) program from New York University, USA. He did a second MA in Applied Linguistics and TESL at Northern Arizona University, USA. He has presented and published a number of research papers at home and abroad. His research interests include language assessment, language teacher education, TESOL methodology, and South Asian literature.
